Get involved Donate The difference we make The difference that we make Our most recent work and achievements Inspiring trust Being an organisation that people can believe in is key to our success and impact as a small charity with a big ambition. This means making meaningful connections that establish trust with everyone we deal with, by being approachable and accessible, honest in our communication, visible and transparent. We believe in being open, inclusive and putting people first – whether we are working with club volunteers and young people in communities, or collaborating with our partners in local authorities, the police, faith groups and other charitable organisations. We build trust by listening, providing suggestions, responding to requests and delivering on our promises… and by living up to our values every day. Testimonials "I just wanted to let you know the good news that SPG has been successful in the Community Fund bid! Thanks very much to you both, I really believe that SPG could not have achieved this without your invaluable advice, thoughtfulness and help. I will be back in touch again soon but just wanted to say how much I and all the SPG trustees appreciated your support." Sally "I just wanted to say again thank you for all your support along the way and helping me to think systematically in moving forward in our Action Plan moving forward. The documents you sent me has helped with our discussions within our management meetings and with delegating areas of work needed." Joan "Our youth worker is a superstar! I was amazed at how she persisted and engaged the young people in two games last week. I did let her know how impressed I was. I would have given up but she kept trying and managed to get some to play each game for 5 mins." Alice "Surrey Clubs for Young People set up a youth club at the Shanklin Village which has been very successful with the young people that have attended. Not only do they provide a formal club on a weekly basis, they have gone out of their way to provide extra activities during holidays to keep the young people involved in positive activities. In an area with limited opportunities for young people to keep them occupied, the service provided by Surrey Clubs has proved invaluable for kids from the local area." Sutton Housing Partnership Ltd "My experience as a volunteer has been amazing, I work with an encouraging team who are very supportive and passionate about helping young teens. The best part of what I do is the children, they are talented, creative and generally kind individuals. This experience has taught me a lot about my strengths and weaknesses but I wouldn't change it for the world, I absolutely love youth work and I am very grateful I was given this opportunity." Volunteer "We have found the support from SCYP to be excellent. We are volunteers and often cant dedicate loads of time around fundraising which makes our future planning very hand to mouth. SCYP understood what we needed, shifted through what was appropriate for us to apply for, they kept an eye on us, prodded as appropriate and were excellent as a critical friend. Can't recommend them enough." Young People and Families Strategic Lead – East Surrey Family Services
